Our school provides opportunities for the students to excel in their personal skill through various activities. One among them is club activity. Six different clubs are organized under the leadership of a Teacher coordinator and student representatives. Students of all the classes can join the club according to their area of interest. Every Tuesday one class hour is assigned for club activities.
Nature club initiates the Clean and Green program in the school. As part of this, the club celebrates World environment Day on 5th June. The club took up distribution of variety of saplings supplied by the Social Forestry and seeds by Krishi Bhavan as part of Harita kerala programme of Govt. of Kerala. The club has added 35 kinds of Tulsi plants to the Medicinal herbs garden in the school campus. They also announced plastic free campus by encouraging toffee free birthday celebrations. They have taken their campaign further, by joining hands with Green Army Volunteers of the ‘Ente Nagaram Sundara Nagaram’ Project of Trivandrum Corporation.
Science club works relentlessly to develop scientific temper among the students through various activities. The club encourages its members to work on innovative projects. The students are guided during the club period in their respective projects.

Literary club encourages reading habits in students by celebrating 'Reading Day'. The club started Book Reviews competitions, 'Hindu in School' and 'Manorama Vayanakalari'.
The Quiz club – “Quizzards” aim at improving the GK of students by conducting House wise competitions. Every week during club hour, students participate in General Knowledge enrichment activities.
Aim to improve the spoken English and Vocabulary of students. Teacher coordinator along with NILA staff conducts different activities like: FM that helps the students to improve their speaking skill. As an infotainment program, School FM KSL 19.1 promotes creative expression of students and entertains the school during lunch break.
V – Help / Nalla Padam
"We reach out to the needy in the way they demand"
During the year 2017 – 18 V Help club reached out to the needy sponsoring amount for treatment of different patients. The students arranged 750 lunch packets, which were collected and were distributed to the inmates of Kripa Theeram, Muttakad and Marymatha orphanage Pothencode and to the bystanders of RCC Trivandrum under the leadership of XI students on 14th Aug. As part of Malayala Manorama NallaPadam, five farmers from Venganoor Grama Panchayat were honored at Onam celebration. In collaboration with NILA, the Nallapadam, coordinators arranged Rice Bucket Challenge, which collected 400 Kg of rice and were distributed to 40 families of our locality on World Food Day.
Students from Buds School were invited for the Children’s Day celebration, giving them opportunity in the school campus to organize an exhibition cum sale of their handicrafts. Both the teachers and the students from our school were very generous to purchase their handicrafts put on sale. The Club also entrusted every class two families each covering 56 families from Poontura and Vizhinjam who lost their dear ones in the Okhi cyclones and the school decided to cancel the Christmas celebration and the amount to be contributed to these our dear brothers and sisters affected by the cyclone. Our students participated in the twenty twenty challenge game organised by nalla padam and Athira V S of IX D a consolation prize of cash award Rs. 1000/- Wide Wish campaign was also organized by Nallapadam to provide the students with firsthand experience of writing greeting and sending it to their parents via post.
